Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines, soften creases, or enhance facial contours. We use a trebled prescription strength topical numbing cream when doing fillers to provide the highest level of comfort during these procedures. In some cases lidocaine is injected as well. The majority of fillers also contain lidocaine, it is always important to notify your injector of any known allergies. Please remember to avoid any blood thinner medications such as those containing aspirin prior to any procedure to minimize the likelihood of bruising. Ask your provider first before stopping these medications if you were told you need to take them.
Restylane®
Restylane products made by Galderma, a company who goes above and beyond for both the consumer and the providers who administer their products. These fillers are made with hyaluronic acid, the same substance in our own bodies that provide volume and hydration to our tissues. Restylane products have a wide variety of indications, they also offer a lidocaine free version for those with an allergy. It is one of the safest brands on the market and has become our go to choice of filler not only for it's safety level, but because they offer the most natural feeling and looking results. The majority of these products have XpresHAn Technology which allows the fillers to move freely like natural tissue for stunning results. Fillers are used to enhance features and replace volume loss. This enables us to smooth lines around the mouth, enhance the lips, add lift and volume to the cheeks, or give structure and definition to the chin and jawlines. Restylane offers the incredibly popular Kysse, which is a beautiful choice for fuller, plumper lips. Our clients LOVE it and so do we!!!

Juvederm®
Juvederm is an Allergan product and is another popular choice of filler. These tend to be very hydrophilic products which means they tend to attract the water in you body to give a little extra plump. At our practice, we only use certain Juvederm products such as Voluma, which does a great job of adding volume to the cheeks.
